• Extending Docker’s Integration with containerd (Djordje Lukic) - Docker team shares the roadmap for their adoption of containers as basic components in image management. Learn more about it and how you can try it today in this post.

• How to Change an Azure Function Written in .NET from In-Process to Isolated Process (Nick) - Great post that from scratch create a regular Azure Function into Visual Studio publish it and then quickly migrate it to an Isolated one.

• 3 ways every company can get started with an open-source software strategy (Ashley Wolf) - Open source can be so much and it is normal to not understand all of it at the beginning. This nice post answer a few questions for enterprises who would like to start.

• Announcing built-in container support for the .NET SDK (Chet Husk) - After the .NET included in Ubuntu a few days ago, now simplistic containerization has so many great new tools and opportunities.

• Getting Started With TypeScript and React (Ifeoma Imoh) - This is a nice tutorial to get started.

• How I made an ai to watch my cats poop for me (Estefannie) - Great project using Raspberry Pi, node, C, and a lot of creativity. The video is a must, it provides a better overview of the journey, and the story is gold.

• Merging two GitHub repositories without losing commit history (Schalk Neethling) - Nice work documenting this flow. Keeping as much information as possible is often very important. A post to bookmark for later use.

• No more Dockerfiles with the help of .NET CLI (Christian Nagel) - Interesting stuff coming up in .NET 7 that we can experiment today.

• 588: How to Help Your Manager Shine, with David Gergen (Coaching for Leaders) - Interesting discussion about how to help your manager with a very special guest. David Gergen is the author of Hearts Touched With Fire, and talks about the importance of the relationship between a manager and a direct report.

• Rust for Beginners with Nell Shamrell-Harrington (Hanselminutes with Scott Hanselman) - I'm studently craving to learn Rust thanks to Scott and Nell in this episode Rust for Beginners
• 315: A Proper Podcast (Merge Conflict) - Fun episode about Frank's and James' personal life.
• How to have a hard conversation (Modern Mentor) - Those moments are hard and I believe we can all benefice from a few tips to prepare ourselves.
• 0267 - Serge Tremblay - Microsoft Loop (Visual Studio Talk Show) - (In French) Microsoft Loop?! If you have the same reaction as me when reading this title, then this episode is for you. A nice episode where three friends talk about new technology.
• Steve Sanderson: The future of Blazor and WebAssembly - Episode 202 (Azure DevOps Podcast) - A really interesting episode about Blazor...

• Introducing .NET MAUI - One Codebase, Many Platforms (David Ortinau) - A very inspiring post about .NET Maui. Honestly, I'm looking forward to building something with it.

• Not feeling valued at work? (Modern Mentor) - A nice episode that will certainly inspire a few of us to reach out and talk.
• S2E3: Responding Instead of Reacting (The Greg McKeown Podcast) - What an interesting topic! I love it great episode with a nice story but more importantly great topic.
• 307: All in on .NET MAUI (Merge Conflict) - .Net MAUI is there... Let's learn more about it! The perfect episode just for that.
• Modernizing .NET Apps with Mark Rendle (.NET Rocks!) - The first episode recorded Live with a public since forever.

• 13 Visual Studio 2022 Tips & Tricks (Claudio Bernasconi) - Wow! So many goods ones! How many did you learn in this post?

• Five Reasons To Master Git On The Command Line (zwischenzugs) - I said it in the past and will say it again...I learn a new command each time I read a Git-related post... So powerful.

• How to Access Query Strings in Minimal APIs (Shawn Wildermuth) - Those posts are the best! When we can not only learn the solution but also from the tests along the way. Great post.

• Working on two git branches at once with git worktree (Andrew Lock) - Wow, there are so many things possible with Git. Personally, I think I would just work in containers... But it's nice that other options are possible for other scenarios.

• Running a developer community (Software Engineering Unlocked) - Wow! Very impressed by all that structure and great community. So inspiring.
• How to do an Instagram Giveaway that Actually Works with Derek Videll (Influencer Entrepreneurs: Blogging & Social Media Tips) - That was a good one. Doing a giveaway is way harder than it looks.
• 142: Kevin Evans on Building Your Azure Cloud Career (CloudSkills.fm) - Very interesting discussion.

• How to rollback a Container App revision using the Azure CLI (Jason Haley) - A very nice and detailed tutorial that continues to explain how to use Azure container App using real-life scenarios.

• How to set environment variables in a Container App using the Azure CLI (Jason Haley) - What a great post! I love that it came from a question during a talk, it shows that when we say" let me get back to you", we really want to. Good work.

Programming

• Conditional Blazor Styles (without the if statements) (Jason Hilton) - Nice little tips for Blazor developers.

• How to Deserialize a Complex JSON Object in C# .NET (Code Maze) - New way, old way this post covers them c both compares them and provides a lot of information to get good and consistent results.

• How to Remove the Start Text from PowerShell (Md. Fahim Bin Amin) - So simple! Of course, there are arguments, but didn’t I think about it?!

• How to delete all merged git branches with one terminal command (Salma Alam-Naylor) - Love that little script so simple.

• Improving your GitHub feed (Bruce Williams) - Great! A nice new feature on our GitHub page.

• Start working on GitHub Issues faster (Daniel Adams) - Oh, I love it! Looking forward to trying it.

• Why you should ship your silly side projects (Salma Alam-Naylor) - Refreshing post…And go see that website if Geocities means something to you. Totally agree with the shipping project; it is an excellent source of joy and you always learn new stuff.

• New data: What makes developers happy at work (David Gibson) - Interesting post. So many details…are developers are that different compared to other workers? I feel most people want the same…

• 5 reasons to attend the Azure Virtual Desktop Master Class (Sue Hartford) - That could be so useful for many now that we are working more from home... A more secure and powerful machine could be easy to reach and maintain.

• Adventures in Dapr: Episode 1 (James Dawson) - First post of a promising series on Dapr.This one dressed the table, shares the links.....waiting for the next one.

• Compiling sqlcipher (sqlite encrypted) for Windows using Visual Studio 2022 (Dominique St-Amand) - Wow. This post was a big reminder for me of two things: how far we come, and some souvenirs of homework from when I was in school.

• Docker’s Top 10 Most Popular Blogs in 2021 (David Oro) - Nice quick list of great resources.

• Windows, WSL, Docker, and Free Starters (Sm0ke) - Nice quick start tutorial to set up your Django tools on Windows.

• Helping team members deal with Imposter Syndrome (Mark Downie) - Interesting post. I think it is really important to talk about it, as it affects us all.

• Tips & Tricks for Query Pagination in Azure Cosmos DB - Azure Cosmos DB Blog (Tim Sander) - This important concept, not only used with Azure Cosmo DB but any database, is very well explained in this post.

• Why Are More Companies Trying Four-Day Workweeks? (David Cassel) - Interesting. I didn't suspect that it was growing so much in popularity.

• Polymorphism in C# (Code Maze) - Oh nice, it's been a while since I read such a good post about this concept.

• Codeless != Designless (Steve Fenton) - Of course, always design/ plan/ at east napkin drawing before starting putting the pieces together.

• Using Minimal APIs in ASP.NET Core Razor Pages (Mike Brind) - Okay, okay, I think I could get used to this new minimal approach thing. I will need to code a little by myself first, but thanks to this post I have a good idea.

• Building and auto-deploying an ASP.NET Core application - Part 7 - Improving your build and release processes ( Imar Spaanjaars) - This series is gold for anyone interested to learn more about best practices when deploying. It covers many different scenarios and got into the details.

• Creating Azure Functions, Custom Connectors and using them inside of Power apps (Charles Sterling) - Quick tutorial that connects two amazing tools.

• Leveling Up Static Web Apps With the CLI (Aaron Powell) - A pretty cool demo running locally. The explanation of the tasks fike is awesome.

• Best Practices for Microservices (dilshan ukwattage) - 7 best practices to help us building great microservices solutions.

• Conditional compilation for ignoring method calls with the ConditionalAttribute (Andrew Lock) - An interesting post about commands that we don't see that often, or at least that I don't see often.

• How to use GitHub actions and Contentful webhooks to show your latest blog posts on your GitHub profile README (Salma Alam-Naylor) - Wow, This is pretty cool! I didn't think we could do this kind of thing with our page...but I guess we can do all we want; love it.

• Extending HttpClient Testing With Templating (Adam Storr) - A nice quick post that shares unit test pattern

• Exploring .NET interactive notebooks with VS Code (Andrew Lock) - Nice practical utilization of that tech and I love the historic vibe into it.

• Git – What to do when things go wrong (pcmichaels) - Wonderful post...We all been there when we screwed up then not sure how to fix things. This post is packed with helpful commands and explanations on how to use them and the expected result

• Diagram as Code with Diagrams (Sam Cogan) - Interesting tool, I use drawio most of the time because it doesn't require any installation, but I am curious to see it.

• Speaking CTO (Gregor Hohpe) - Nive post with really good and simple best practices.

• Use C# to upload files to a GitHub repository (Dave Brock) - This is awesome no need to create a rest wrapper and all those little things.

• How to Be Happier Without Really Trying - Barking Up The Wrong Tree (Eric) - Is it tricking your own mind, or is it just taking back control? Well as much as we can take control ...of course. Nevertheless, these are interesting ideas that I will try.

• Azure REST API through Logic App (Brad Watts) - I love Logic Apps I think it's a tool that is overviewed by too many. Great post.

• Penny Pinching in the Cloud: Azure Static Web Apps are saving me money (Scott Hanselman) - Azure static web app for the win! Seriously they are amazing I use them a lot. It's still in preview. But all good.

• Easily nuke secrets from your Git history | Dominique St-Amand (Dominique St-Amand) - Interesting post going deep into Git spelunking artifact from our history.

• Installing Docker Desktop for Windows and WSL 2 (Andrew Lock) - This post guides ys in the installations of WLS2 with Docker on Windows. It is now kind of simple... But a lot of us are still afraid. We shouldn't, give it a try!

• Your Open Source Project Needs a devcontainer - Here's Why | LINQ to Fail (Aaron Powell) - The dev container tools are pure madness. BUT on the positive side. It is incredibly useful and easy to use. Pair with Codespace its magic. I'm looking forward to seeing the public release.

• Tip 272 - Azure Security Best Practices | Azure Tips and Tricks (Michael Crump) - Seven great methods to keep our solution secure in Azure.

Programming

• 5 Ways Artifactory NuGet Repositories Boost .NET Development (Rami Honig) - This post introduces an end to end DevOps solution to manage packages dependencies. It looks very interesting.

• Exploring the .NET open source hybrid ORM library RepoDB (Scott Hanselman) - A great open-source solution... I need to give it a try, maybe with my Use-R-vote project...

• Highlights from Git 2.28 (Taylor Blau) - Nice update. I'm personally very please with the default name of our choice.

• Introducing GitHub's OpenAPI Description (Marc-Andre Giroux) - An interesting project.

• New Developer Landing Page and Issues Repo - Windows Developer Blog (Rich Turner) - Nice now we have a customized entry door to the knowledge word.

• Official Support for Remote Debugging a .NET Core Linux app in WSL2 from Visual Studio on Windows (Scott Hanselman) - Wsl2 is an incredible tool. There only one of my machines that don't have it yet because it running on public Windows release... But I should have it soon everywhere and it will be so great!

• Pimp up your Blazor EditForms with Tailwind CSS! (Tarik Alkathiri) - Nice tutorial.

• When does it make sense to use containers in a development workflow? (Sean Killeen) - Nice post that shares a very good answer.

Podcasts

• 211: Failure To Launch (Merge Conflict) - Interesting conversation about when it's time to stop adding features and deploy. Finding a comfortable point could be difficult sometime.

• 482: How to Sell Your Vision, with Michael Hyatt (Coaching for Leaders) - nice episode that shares a few points to guide us when it's time to build/ present our vision.

• #167 – The Most Sensible Debate on Hustle Culture and Work-Life Balance with Natalie Nagele and DHH (The Indie Hackers Podcast) - A very interesting discussion about the "entrepreneur" mentality. Are there too many differences between the guess (cultural)? It's definitely good to ear all their points... But be aware that's mostly a two-hour long episode.

• The Open Source Ecosystem, .NET Foundation, and Microsoft with Sebastien Lambla (.NET Rocks!) - A fantastic episode. A hot topic very strong opinion but done in with class!

• Managing remotely with Asana Engineering Manager Kate Reading (Hanselminutes with Scott Hanselman) - Interesting conversation. It's not a not topic, but they're a lot of unprepared managers that were forced into this situation.

Miscellaneous

• New Windows Virtual Desktop capabilities now generally available | Azure blog and updates | Microsoft Azure (Kam VedBrat) - Wow, that very nice news.

• Simplified YouTube live streaming with Azure and OBS Studio. ( Ihor Leontiev) - With more and more people doing conferences or streaming online this alternative could simplify a lot of technical issues.

• Always Use the for…of loop to iterate in JavaScript (Dhananjay Kumar) - I thought I knew how to loop in JavaScript, apparently, I didn't.
• Exciting new updates to the Git experience in Visual Studio | Visual Studio Blog (Pratik) - Wow, that nice update. Good tools are important when moving and merging code... We don't want to make mistakes.
• Getting Started With Kubernetes: Application Basics (Sophia Parafina) - A nice second post in a series on kubernetes. Learning layer by layer.awesome.
• How to Create and Delete Branches in Visual Studio Code (Jason N. Gaylord) - Nice quick tips. I didn't know how to delete it.

• Episode 51 - Extensions, Home automation and Remoulade sauce with Mads Kristensen (Coding After Work Podcast) - And awesome episode with the legend... Creator of so many extensions.

• Testing Blazor Apps with Egil Hansen (.NET Rocks!) - A very interesting episode about a unit testing framework build by the community for Blazor!

• Gerald Undone - MAJOR Gear Talk: Custom PCs, Sony vs Canon and Cinema Cameras (That Creative Life) - Two greate creator met again to talk cameras, laptop, and some much good stuff.

• Red Teaming with Leron Gray (Hanselminutes with Scott Hanselman) - A quite interesting episode about playing the bad guys for the good cause. I enjoyed each second of this episode. I new those them existed, but it's great to learn more about them.

• Baking Bread with Eric Wolfinger (Wild Ideas Worth Living) - I've been doing my bread for probably fifteen years, and just recently start messing around with sourdoughs... I'm not crazy.. Making bread is both simple and complex... and of course so fun.

• The idea that making code open-source won't cost a company anything (Matt Lacey) - Totally agree maintaining a project open source or not required time and effort... Therefore cost money.

• GitKraken Git GUI How-To: Add & Remove Files (Calvin A. Allen) - Nice post that describes some very useful operation on git using the graphic interface provided by Git Kraken.

• 472: How to Run an Online Meeting, with Bonni Stachowiak (Coaching for Leaders) - I'm always surprised and a bit disappointed when I realize that this topic or those best practices are not well known. An episode to share :)

• Free Certs for Azure App Services (Mark Downie, Ray Fan) - Marvelous! Perfect timing. All documented, a nice step by step.

• May 2020 Azure SDK Release (@Adrian Hall) - Nice new update coming on the Azure SDK.

• Migrate to Azure: Save now, be future ready (Julia White) - Nice little post that explains some reasons to migrate to the cloud and gives a few links to get started.

Programming

• Different ways to host Blazor WebAssembly (Wasm) (Tim Heuer) - A really interesting post with a lot of little gems.

• Announcing Blazm (Grid component) (Jimmy Engström) - Nice I think I just found the grid I was looking for...

• Git Branching Strategies (Chris Ayers) - Nice post that describes 3 popular solutions base on your teams' skills and experience.

• Making Docker lovely for Developers with Simon Ferquel (Hanselminutes with Scott Hanselman) - Incredibly interesting podcast episode where they discuss about Docker on Windows. How it was working before and how it works with WSL2. A must.

• SPI 422: Email Marketing Audit: Which of These Email Marketing Strategies Are You Actually Doing? (The Smart Passive Income Online Business and Blogging Podcast) - I don't have an email list, I don't have anything to sell. However, sometimes I wish I had one to share some event coming, or new videos/post/live... I really like the respectful approach.

• 5 Reasons It's Better to Be A Small Streamer - Twitch Tips (Stream Coach: Twitch Stream Tips | Partner Interviews | Pro Advice) - A nice episode that list some advantages of being a smaller streamer. I've been streaming for one year now, I'm pretty happy with my journey, learned a lot, and still learn so much. I don't feel disadvantaged, but that's maybe just because I don't really focus on growth.

• 469: See What Really Matters, with Greg McKeown (Coaching for Leaders) - Nice episode that talks about the essential, how to find it, how to not pass over it. Very interesting. The book, Essentialism, from seems interesting too... And hop! On the to-read list.

• Whiteboarding for Developers: Yes, You Have To ( Chris Gustafson) - An excellent post that will help you to remember why whiteboarding is important. It will also provide nice guidance to restart doing it efficiently.

• Why to OneNote instead of Whiteboard? (Vesa Nopanen) - I love OneNote ...but strangely never draw inside of it... I'll definitely give it a try.

• Blazor - Changing the title without JavaScript (Jimmy Engström) - A nice tutorial that shows how to go over certain boundaries in Blazor.
• Clean Coding in C# - Part I (Calvin A. Allen) - A great little post packed with 200% of wisdom.
• How to Integrate Unit Testing with ASP.NET Core 3.1 (Vijayaraj Angappan) - A very clear tutorial that explains how to use Moq and NUnit 2 great tools.
• Markdown .NET Core Library (Jason N. Gaylord) - That looks nice! And it's in .Net!
• Tips, tricks, hacks, and secrets from Alyson La (Alyson La) - A nice little list of pro tips...perfect to get started, or push forward if you are already a git user.

• 465: How to Lead a Virtual Team, with Susan Gerke (Coaching for Leaders) - Nice show. It doesn't matter if you are a manager or just that you work in a remote team, there nice tips.

Miscellaneous

• Visual Studio Codespaces (Nik Molnar) - I really like the new name I think it says more about what it is. And seriously how can I not like the new price! Less than 2$/day for a machine!

• Git Visualized: Forked a Repo, Now The Original Has More Commits (Saqib Ameen) - A nice little gem... Commun scenario that we all at one point struggle with.

• Add Discord Notifications to ASP.NET Core Apps (Steve Smith) - Really nice post that shows us how to use GitHub actions and Csharp to push info into Discord. I need to try something like that someday....

• How I Got My Website to Load in 1 Second (Jeremy Morgan) - An interesting story about a migration and some optimization choices.

• Top 3 Blazor Extensions for Visual Studio Code -- Visual Studio Magazine (David Ramel) - Nice extensions that definitely deserve our attention.

• Try gh, GitHub's new CLI (John Papa) - Oh, that's really nice I like that. I find it funny that t should like you just got a hit in the chest. However, it looks powerful enough to cut your breath... so it probably deserves it.

• Use SimpleSQL from Github pages (Simone Mosciatti) - That's kind of really cool. It gives me a few ideas...

• Using Entity Framework in a Blazor Server Application (David Grace) - This post shares two nice solutions for a recurring error with EF Core.

• Internet Legend Hank Green! Founder of VidCon, Vlogbrothers and His Production (That Creative Life) - Strangely I didn't know much about this guest... What a pleasant discovery!

• How to Succeed In Building Developer Tooling with Peter Pezaris (Software Engineering Unlocked) - Don't blink, don't even blink. Not sure if it really apply when you listen to podcast, but this episode was so packed of great content. I really like the open discussion. An awesome show.

• 0241 - Etienne Tremblay - GitHub Actions (Visual Studio Talk Show) - Great episode that compare, discuss, and speculate with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. It's in French. I miss you guys it's been too long... Great show.
