• Top 5 things to get the most out of Microsoft Ignite (Rick Claus) - Nice tips to get ready.

• Tip 307 - How to create faster and smarter apps with .NET 5 | Azure Tips and Tricks - A nice quick review of .Net improvements.

• .NET Interactive with SQL!| .NET Notebooks in Visual Studio Code (Maria Naggaga) - A very interesting tool when you want to do a quick exploration of the data or invalidate some queries while in your code.

• Don't forget about the GitHub Command Line (Scott Hanselman) - I forgot about that CLI... That could be useful.

• Generate iCal calendar with .NET using iCAL.NET (Kristoffer Strube) - A nice quick tutorial for that package.Looking forward to seeing in the latest .Net version.

• IntelliSense for appsettings.json | ASP.NET Blog (James Newton-King) - That's a cool feature! How many times I was in the settings and struggling on the format, or name of a properties.No more Internet search!

• What Makes VSCode so Popular?. Visual Studio Code is bae | by Richard So | Feb, 2021 | codeburst (Richard So) - A great post that will put words into your thoughts. And if you don't use vsCode, it will explain why so many people around love it that much.

• You must be insane to be a software developer (Matt Lacey) - Interesting question.

• Using Multiple Accounts with Azure (Sam Cogan) - Nice tips a must. So helpful.

• ASP.NET Core Dependency Injection: What is the IServiceCollection? (Steve Gordon) - A very clear and complete tutorial.Taking us from zero and teaching us what it is, how it works, how to use it, and some best practices.

• Announcing Dapr v1.0 (Dapr project maintainers) - A great new open-source tool just got to v1. This post will tell you all about it.

• Building an Android app with .NET 6 (Nick) - This is so cool. Looking Good.

• DotNet Boxed includes prescriptive templates for .NET Core (Scott Hanselman) - This is super cool. I really like and appreciate how the .Net CLI is builded.

• Visual Studio 2019 Docker Tooling (Mark Heath) - A nice post that shows how those two great tools work together.

• What is the difference between a DTO and a POCO (or POJO) (Steve (ardalis) Smith) - A very clear explanation. Straight to the point.

• Blazor on Desktop (Sam Basu ) - This post demonstrates by showing how to build those two flavors that it is possible to build a desktop app. Interesting.

• 7 Ways to Improve Your Developer Ads � DeveloperMedia - Marketing is hard. I'm not sure developers are that different than others. those tips felt good, they are probably good with all audiences.

• Blazor - Getting Started with Localization (Cody Merritt Anhorn) - Nice quick tutorial to get started.

• Generate a GitHub Actions workflow with Visual Studio or the dotnet CLI (Damian Brady) - This is extremely interesting for all .Net developers. We now have a super-easy way to create a workflow from everywhere using the CLI.

• How to fix Blazor WASM base path problems (Kristoffer Strube) - Interesting post that suggests a complete solution for a common issue. Could it be added to the framework and become native?

• Using Environments for Approval Workflows With GitHub Actions (Aaron Powell) - Pretty cool novelty looking forward to testing it.

Miscellaneous

• Looking back on Software Development in 2020 and forward to 2021 (Scott Hanselman) - A very interesting post and excellent follow up on the podcast topic. So after all it looks like 2020 was good at something.

• Using the latest version of the Azure CLI (Gregor Suttie) - Whaaat! This is a master ninja tricks! Well, at the minimum it is freaking cool and useful. Awesome!

• More with Gruut: Use the Microsoft Bot Framework to analyze emotion with the Azure Face API (Dave Brock) - This is a very complete tutorial to build a cool demo. Second in a series.
• 4 common analytics scenarios to build business agility | Azure blog and updates | Microsoft Azure (Kaiser Larsen) - Very interesting post that shares real-life scenarios where businesses used Synapse to create a great solution.

Programming

• Creating a Serverless Docker Image (Jason Robert) - A nice demo/ tutorial using Node.js to help us running things where we want.
• Entity Framework Core 5 free resources (Erik Ejlskov Jensen) - This is wonderful! A curated list of great EF documentation/ tutorials.
• Getting Started with Windows Terminal (Kayla Cinnamon) - Uh! I didn't know the preview version was also that easy to get. Pretty cool.
• Jump Start your Developer Skills with Visual Studio Code Coding Packs (Jen Looper) - So simple and yet so powerful! It's an awesome idea.
• How to Create a Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CI-CD) Solution for a Docker Project (Frank Boucher) - Shameless plug. It's a simple solution, but I'm pretty proud of it and it does the job marvelously.

Podcasts

• Épisode 84 - Le bonheur de s’entraîner (Grand écart) - I'm not a runner, but I like (or use to) move and be outside. This francophone podcast is really motivating, and interesting.
• Eating Frogs with Brian Tracy (The Productivityist Podcast) - I just found this podcast. I liked that book when I read it a few years ago. It was nice listening to this episode talking about it. Brought back great ideas.
• Épisode 5 - La Chasse aux Sorcières (Les Pires Moments de l'Histoire) - Okay, THIS IS A MUST. Seriously is yo understand French, it's both educational and funny. Great job!
• 2020 sucked - A year-end wrap-up with Scott's Wife, Mo (Hanselminutes with Scott Hanselman) - I'm so glad Mo accepted to comes on the show once more. This dynamic is very interesting. I need to make my wife listen to this episode and to my daughter too (she studying to be a nurse).
• 628 - How to Be Confident, Not Arrogant (Modern Mentor) - The line between those two is easy to cross. I appreciated the reflection time about it, that this episode offers.
• The Infinite Game with Dr. James Carse (A Bit of Optimism) - The Infinite Game, a great book that I read last year. It was awesome to listen to Simon talk about those ideas with Dr. Carse.
• #187 – Building a $38k/Month SaaS Business as a Solo Founder with Jorda O'Connor of Closet Tools (Indie Hackers) - When you like learning, and that you are not afraid to work hard, a little idea can bring you really far.
• 0251 – Joel Quimper – Microsoft Graph (Visual Studio Talk Show) - Why Microsoft Graph? It's all in this episode (in French). Great show once more.

Miscellaneous

• Attention Matters More than Time (Josh Duffney) - So true. The balance is hard to find, but let's keep trying to be better at it.
• What’s New in Microsoft Teams | December 2020 - Wow, a very impressive list of new features. I'm looking forward to testing a few of them.

• Best 5 Tools for Node.js Monitoring (Olivia Diaz) - As a new Node.js developer I am pretty pleased to see all these tools. All bookmarked.

• How to MongoDB in C# - Part 1 (Rami Honig) - A really great tutorial with tons of code and examples to learn how to use MongoDB.

Every Tool's a Hammer: Life Is What You Make It 

(Adam Savage) 

- I really liked this book. In fact, As I was reading the first chapter I was "earing" Adam's voice. So instead of creating that voice in my head I bought the audiobook and let Adam himself tells me his story. This is the best book I listen to this year. It was inspiring and empowering.

• What is a Developer Game Jam? (Coding Blocks) - Interesting episode about Game Jam... I barely know that universe. Yes, I said universe because it is a completely different world or better another dimension. There are tons of events and participants but you may never hear of that. It's very interesting.

• A Blast from the Past and Life's Interesting Journey — Back After 8 Years (The Smart Passive Income Online Business and Blogging Podcast) - Inspiring episode about how communities can be built and be interesting.

• .Net 5 is PERFECT for DevOps (Davide Benvegnù) - I said it many times but allow me to say it one more time... It a great time to be a .Net developer.

• Azure Functions via GitHub Actions with No Publish Profile (Justin Yoo) - Nice post. We can do so much with those GitHub actions it's so cool.

• Spectre.Console lets you make beautiful console apps with .NET Core (Scott Hanselman) - Looks totally cool and could definitely be useful for some API I have... Could I just add params for pretty results?? Hmmm.

• Understanding the difference between null and undefined in Azure Cosmos DB | Azure Cosmos DB Blog (Tim Sander) - Super interesting post that shares a nice tip about how to work with null and undefined values in your NoSQL queries.

• Preventing Developer Burnout in the Age of Rapid Software Delivery (James Brotsos) - This post is definitely interesting as it talks about a real health problem. at the same time there that mix with DevOps and security thing... Could be just me, interesting nevertheless.

• Building applications with C# and a Challenge! (Shayne Boyer) - Very happy to finally see C# to learn. I should have a look at all those modules...interactive he said...it looks awesome.

• Internationalization And Localization For Static Sites — Smashing Magazine (Sam Richard) - This is an amazing post that not only shows how they did it but explains why they did. Really interesting.

• Managing multiple SSH keys for authentication to GitHub on Windows 10 (Dominique St-Amand) - Nice tips to work securely with 2 ssh key.

• Node.js REST API Tutorial: Express.js and TypeScript (Marcos Henrique da Silva) - As I'm learning TypeScript/ Node.js for a project and was looking for how to structure and organized my project this post provide so much.

• Should Your Enterprise Pick Angular, React or Blazor? (Jon Hilton) - Of course, it depends, but I like how this post lets you think about many different aspects before making your decision.

• Best practice when naming Durable Functions in C# (Laurent Bugnion) - Nice update. So many developers will thank you later...

• How to waste your career, one comfortable year at a time (Apoorva Govind) - In the end, what is most important is that you are happy. I like to continuously learn new things, but I also learn that for some people, this is not healthy. And it is totally fine.

• #23 Fatal Conveniences™: Caffeine: Consuming Coffee With Caution (The Darin Olien Show) - Apparently not a usual episode ( I don't know it was my first one), but really interesting deep dive into the coffee world; the effect, origin and more.
• Podcast Crasher – The Binge Factor: Pat Flynn On Building An Online Business From a Podcast (Feed Your Brand) - This episode it the counterpart of another episode that happens on Pat Flynn show. Really interesting topic I don't think about my content that way... Maybe I should, a little.
• #54: Yihua Zhang - From Fitness to Coding [S03-E12] (The Solo Coder Podcast) - WHen you like what you are doing I think it shows. It doesn't mean you will always be a super start, but at least you will be happy and most of the time it will be really good for your career. Fantastic story, inspiring.
• Microsoft Identity for Developers (CloudSkills.fm) - Nice episode I think Identity/security is a really hard topic to abort, and those guys are doing a great

• Microsoft & the Next Level of Transformation with Corey Sanders (Screaming in the Cloud) - What's new why it's interesting, why should we care, and so much more. Nice show.
• Morning Brew - Newsletters ARE NOT Dead! (That Creative Life) - A great conversation between to young and really smart creator. It's interesting to confirm you are not alone asking yourself those questions.
• Are YouTube Keyword Research Tools Worth It? (Your Thriving Side Hustle) - Do you spend time entering all that metadata? Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one doing it, and the second haft of the time I'm sure I'm doing it wrong. Nice episode.
• Cloud & DevOps with Bart Castle (CloudSkills.fm) - I love those stories how someone became who they are. THe path to picked, the choices they made with the reason why.

• Path based routing in Azure Application Gateway with Azure WebApps (Dominique St-Amand) - Great post that explains how to get the most of our domain name and workaround a little limitation of the portal.

• How to Develop an ASP.NET Core Application Using Visual Studio Code (Mathankumar Rajendran) - The perfect post to get started without impacting too much (installing heavy software) your computer.

• Configuring Codespaces for .NET Core Development (Justin Yoo ) - This post goes deeper than the usual hello word type of post about Codespace. It really shows an example of configuration.

• Have you built your GitHub Profile README yet? (Mayank Choudhary) - What?! This is super cool, and I didn't know about it.

• How to Work With Client-Side Blazor (Jon Hilton ) - This is a great simple post to get started with Blazor web assembly. Simple enough so all can understand what it is and what's nice about it.

• Introducing Blazor Automatic Kingdom (null) - Interesting of the popular blocky UI/UX with Blazor.

• Introduction to SVELTE (Sohaib Nehal) - As I rediscover JavaScript, it's fascinating to see how much this language as evolve and now have so many great frameworks.

• WSL 2 Support is coming to Windows 10 Versions 1903 and 1909 | Windows Command Line (Tyler) - Yeah! One of my computers is not in the insider program and was still with WSL1... But not anymore.

• 087: Learning Azure with Gwyneth Pena (CloudSkills.fm) - In this episode, you will discover a freshly awarded MVP, a brilliant content creator, and super energetic women. Wonderful.

• Why you should double down on intergration testing with Kent C. Dodds (Software Engineering Unlocked) - Tests are important we all know that (well we should), but there is a shift about the type of tests that are the best one recently... Interesting.

• Working in Public: Open Source Software with Nadia Eghbal (Hanselminutes with Scott Hanselman) - A very interesting conversation about the open-source work today. She is the author of the book Working in Public, which looks fascinating.

• Azure SDK: Packaging, tools, and repository structure | Azure SDKs (Mitch Denny) - A very interesting post, it's important to find the best way and for that, we need to start by asking the good questions.

• Integration Testing ASP.NET Core Applications: Best Practices (Steve Gordon) - This summary chapter gives us a really good preview of this very interesting Pluralsight course.

• Introducing C# 9: Extending Partial Methods (Anthony Giretti) - It's been a while since a used them, but it nice to see it will be much easier...because I remember how it was.

• The DevOps Journey (Chris Ayers) - Interesting post about DevOps in our reality.

• TikTok, Reels, and Shorts (UGH! Not another algorithm to learn?!) (Your Thriving Side Hustle) - When I saw the title I was TikTok? Not for me... I'm still not convinced, but now it's definitely not that clear. Could some serious things work in that format?

• Linus Tech Tips Returns for Episode 100! (That Creative Life) - I was really happy when I saw that Linus was back on the show. I really like to dynamic between those two, it feels honest and true.

I was interested to read this book to get some inspiration when it's time to talk to people in an event. But this book brought me way more then that. I really appreciated the clear example and the variety. After reading this book you won't be a master, but you now have options to start a conversation.

• How the OBS Project changed video forever with lead Hugh Bailey (Hanselminutes with Scott Hanselman) - I was trilled to listen to this podcast. I'm a regular user of OBS and it was wonderful to learn more about this project. I will definitely be lurking on the GitHub side...

• 480: Get Noticed Without Selling Out, with Laura Huang (Coaching for Leaders) - Interesting discussion. I never realize how “Be yourself” wasn't really useful...

• Episode 219: Remote crickets and Manager Careering (Soft Skills Engineering) - A really nice episode. Great topics answering diverse questions. One that kept my attention was about the magic manager and the time management...

• How to Improve Time Management with Angela Proffitt (Influencer Entrepreneurs with Jenny Melrose) - A few great tips to improve our efficiency at managing time. It's always good to have new ideas and ear how others are doing.

• #49: Erin Doyle - Beautiful Code and Accessibility (The Solo Coder Podcast) - A beautiful, very inspiring episode about how to make the world a better place for all.

• Always Use the for…of loop to iterate in JavaScript (Dhananjay Kumar) - I thought I knew how to loop in JavaScript, apparently, I didn't.
• Exciting new updates to the Git experience in Visual Studio | Visual Studio Blog (Pratik) - Wow, that nice update. Good tools are important when moving and merging code... We don't want to make mistakes.
• Getting Started With Kubernetes: Application Basics (Sophia Parafina) - A nice second post in a series on kubernetes. Learning layer by layer.awesome.
• How to Create and Delete Branches in Visual Studio Code (Jason N. Gaylord) - Nice quick tips. I didn't know how to delete it.

• Episode 51 - Extensions, Home automation and Remoulade sauce with Mads Kristensen (Coding After Work Podcast) - And awesome episode with the legend... Creator of so many extensions.

• Testing Blazor Apps with Egil Hansen (.NET Rocks!) - A very interesting episode about a unit testing framework build by the community for Blazor!

• Gerald Undone - MAJOR Gear Talk: Custom PCs, Sony vs Canon and Cinema Cameras (That Creative Life) - Two greate creator met again to talk cameras, laptop, and some much good stuff.

• Red Teaming with Leron Gray (Hanselminutes with Scott Hanselman) - A quite interesting episode about playing the bad guys for the good cause. I enjoyed each second of this episode. I new those them existed, but it's great to learn more about them.

• Baking Bread with Eric Wolfinger (Wild Ideas Worth Living) - I've been doing my bread for probably fifteen years, and just recently start messing around with sourdoughs... I'm not crazy.. Making bread is both simple and complex... and of course so fun.

• My Windows Terminal Color Schemes (Thomas Maurer) - Cool windows terminal themes.

• The idea that making code open-source won't cost a company anything (Matt Lacey) - Totally agree maintaining a project open source or not required time and effort... Therefore cost money.
