• Incremental ASP.NET to ASP.NET Core Migration (Taylor Southwick) - Migrating an application is not an easy task. This post shares the new GitHub repos that the .NET team puts in place with guidance, pattern, and toolings to help us. Really interesting, bookmark that one for future references.

Cloud

• Azure Logic Apps team is interested in your feedback – BizTalk Business Rules Engine Survey (Sandro Pereira) - Integration technologies are so useful, help the teams to plan their priorities.

Programming

• Introducing Project Volterra (Mark Downie) - This little beast really caught my attention during Build. I'm impatient to learn more about it.

• GitHub Copilot AI Programming Assistant to Hit GA This Summer (Rabia Noureen) - The demos are really impressive, and the comments are all positive. I'll try it for sure!

Data

• Introducing the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform | Azure Blog and Updates | Microsoft Azure (Rohan Kumar) - This post is an excellent summary of the data and AI news from Microsoft Build.

Miscellaneous

• Microsoft's metaverse rival Meta chooses Azure as strategic cloud provider (Arif Bacchus) - Meta, a new world to explore...

• Azure Container Apps is GA (Sam Cogan) - Wow, already GA! Learn more about all the feature-packed of this service in this short post.

• How to override the ENTRYPOINT when running a container with ACI (Donovan Brown) - Interesting journey in the CICD world.

• New tips & tricks for your Azure Static Web Apps (Yohan Lasorsa) - Great new azure static video tutorial to help you with the CLI whatever is your programming language.

Programming

• Reducing the size of a git repository with git-replace (Andrew Lock) - Great tutorial. When doing way simpler manipulation, that can have a significant impact, I'm always nervous.

• Code, test, and ship your next app quickly and securely with Microsoft developer tools | Azure Blog and Updates | Microsoft Azure (Kathleen Mitford) - Great developer tools as been announced or shown during Microsoft Build. This post is a good summary.

• Introducing .NET MAUI - One Codebase, Many Platforms (David Ortinau) - A very inspiring post about .NET Maui. Honestly, I'm looking forward to building something with it.

Podcats

• Not feeling valued at work? (Modern Mentor) - A nice episode that will certainly inspire a few of us to reach out and talk.
• S2E3: Responding Instead of Reacting (The Greg McKeown Podcast) - What an interesting topic! I love it great episode with a nice story but more importantly great topic.
• 307: All in on .NET MAUI (Merge Conflict) - .Net MAUI is there... Let's learn more about it! The perfect episode just for that.
• Modernizing .NET Apps with Mark Rendle (.NET Rocks!) - The first episode recorded Live with a public since forever.

Miscellaneous

• Azure CLI Microsoft Build 2022 Highlights (Jeremy Li) - I didn't know that, but pretty happy about this update.

It's... Tuesday! 

Yes I know one day later, but it's still time to share my reading notes. Those are a curated list of all the articles, blog posts, podcast episodes, and books that catch my interest during the week and that I found interesting. It's a mix of the actuality and what I consumed.

• 50 shades of .NET on AWS (François Bouteruche) - A nice, like-real, story that helps understand how decisions are taken when planning in cloud architecture (here AWS).

• Deploy ASP.NET Core websites to Azure App Service with Azure Pipelines (Mark Heath) - Very interesting tutorial about azure DevOps pipeline.

• Introducing the Azure Static Web Apps CLI (Anthony Chu) - Amazing tools this swa CLI is very interesting and useful.

Programming

• Light and dark mode in just 14 lines of CSS (Salma Alam-Naylor) - Lovely there is no real reason to not do it.

• A New Architecture for APIs (Anant Jhingran) - A very interesting paper that highlights the strengths of GraphQL.

• Add an Admin Tab to Windows Terminal with gsudo (Sam Cogan) - That's a pretty a neet tool!

• Development Container CLI (Brigit Murtaugh) - Oh! This is fantastique, I need to try that, I'm assuming we will be able to give a name to the instance and that it will make reopening a container easier.

• Docker Host network alternatives for Windows containers (Vinicius Apolinario) - Networks are hard, at least for me, and this post shows nice alternatives and explains many things.

Podcast

• Studio 2022 Extensions with Mads Kristensen (.NET Rocks!) - Whenever I listen Mads Kristensen talking about Visual Studio, my brain goes 🤯 Awesome, awesome episode.

Miscellaneous

• The Azure Cosmos DB Journey to .NET 6 - .NET Blog (Vinod Sridharan) - Learn how Azure Cosmo DB API gateway is low latency and use .Net in many different scenarios to achieve great performance, in this post.
