It's... Tuesday! Yes I know one day later, but it's still time to share my reading notes. 

Those are a curated list of all the articles, blog posts, podcast episodes, and books that catch my interest during the week and that I found interesting. It's a mix of the actuality and what I consumed.

• 5 DevOps tips to speed up your developer workflow (Damian Brady) - Great post with event greater tips to be more efficient.

Cloud

• Azure Cost Management and Billing updates (Michael Flanakin) - Tracking our costs is important to stay on top of your business. This short post shares the latest updates.

• WTH are Azure Container Apps? (Sam Cogan) - A nice post that really does a great introduction of the new Azure Containers Apps that was announced recently.

Programming

• 
  GitHub Issues Graph with Netlify and GraphQL (Den Delimarsky) - Whaaaat! Awesome idea and execution. I love it!
  

• A Nightscout Segment for OhMyPosh shows my realtime Blood Sugar readings in my Git Prompt (Scott Hanselman) - It's cool that you can add anything in the prompt, and there is such granularity control of how the information is displayed.

• GitHubs magic files (Rob Bos) - Nice some of them I never saw.

• Windows Authentication with HttpClient (Rick Strahl) - He got me at Retro post lol

Podcasts

• Egil Hansen on Blazor Testing with bUnit - Episode 169 (Azure DevOps Podcast) - It's the second time I hear good things about bUnit. This is an open-source library for testing Blazor components that can be paired with many popular test frameworks. I need to try it.

• Podcast Tags: Are They Still Relevant? (Feed Your Brand) - It all makes sense. I am not 100% sure about YouTube however because all captions are indexed... I think. But if you create content listen to this.

• Family with Ari Emanuel (A Bit of Optimism) - The best way to learn and grow is to try and fail ( aka fall). A great episode very interesting.

• Deploying an Azure Function App with Bicep (Mark Heath) - A nice example of a bicep script with a few resources. Not too many so it is complicated but enough to cover some particularities.

Programming

• ASP.NET Core User Secrets and Secret Manager Tool (Steve Gordon) - Its hard to explain secret or invisible things, but this post does a really good job.

• Blazor Power BI Paginated Reports (Michael Washington) - Ooooh It's been a moment since I play with my friend PowerBi... This is very interesting. I just needed a project with data... That shouldn't be that hard to find, right?

• Microsoft Graph Fundamentals learning path – Module 1 (Luise Freese) - Wonderful! Does this learning path as been created just for me? Perfect timing.

• Windows Containers on Windows 10 without Docker (using Containerd) · James Sturtevant (James Sturtevant) - Interesting container project.

Books

Think Again: The Power of Knowing What You Don't Know 

Author: Adam M. Grant

- I really like this book. It validates that it's okay to rethink decisions, to change your mind. The goal is to have (and keep) an open mindset. It seems easier than it is, of course. I heard amazing comments about this author, so it's probably not the last one I will read from him.

• GraphQL Editor - new release v. 4.5 (Tomek Poniatowicz) - I didn't know that tool, but now I really need to look at it; it seems awesome.

• Delete your resource groups in parallel using the az group command (Wes MacDonald) - What!? So cool, and efficient.

• Demystifying Azure App Services Plan (Scott Allen) - Very clear and so well explained. I love it.
• Understanding Azure Durable Functions - Part 1: Overview (Jason Roberts) - A nice quick introduction to the durable functions. A series to watched.
• Managing Azure Functions Keys (using the new ARM APIs!) (Mark Heath) - This post shares all the required code to get, list, or change our keys using the new API and some PowerShell.

Programming

• Git is case-sensitive and your filesystem may not be - Weird folder merging on Windows (Scott Hanselman) - A nice tip to know when creating a multi-platform application.
• How YOU can use Nest to build a GraphQL API (Chris Noring) - A pretty cool tutorial that gives us all the code to get started with GraphQL.
• The Top 5 DevOps Automation Tools .NET Developers Should Know (Heather Downing) - So many great tools! Could it be the opportunity to try something new that you were waiting for?
• Azure DevOps Hidden Gems #3 - Pull Request Validation Builds AND Releases (Graham Smith) - Amazing features that I didn't know even existed! A very promising series indeed!

Databases

• Using SQL Server in Docker containers for basic tasks (Michael Jolley) - Stop installing SQL server on your dev machine!? After reading this post you may consider that as a really good idea.

Miscellaneous

• A better way to sell your skills as a developer than just "hire me!" or mass applying (Corey Cleary) - Interesting post that shows the proper way to do things.
• How I Started Existing on the Internet (Ryland G) - An awesome story. Hopefully, it will help those who didn't start yet...
• The Best Book to Read as a Developer (Ryland G) - Looking for something technical to read this summer? Well, this one look interesting.
