• Azure Automation Run Books – Setup (Paul Michaels) - Automation is so powerful... Think about it as a Cron job in the cloud...

Programming

• 4 ways we use GitHub Actions to build GitHub (Brian Douglas) - I love it. Dog fooding your products or services will always improve them. Nice post.

• ASP.NET Core CRUD with NoSQL: Part 2 (Matthew Groves) - In this second post of the series, we learn how to set an index and how to prepare our select to read our data.

• An Introduction to JSON (Jack Wallen) - I thought it was a bit older than that. Nice post th o learn more about something we all use.

• Building a WebAssembly-powered serverless platform (Colin Eberhardt) - Very interesting post about different web assembly possibilities and a cool tutorial in Rush.

• How to prevent Email HTML injection in C# and .NET (Niels Swimberghe) - An accessible solution to a very important and frequent problems in web development. Very instructive post.

• 10 Things I (Still) Love About Programming (Al Tenhundfeld) - I love it. All those things are so true!

Miscellaneous

• MySQL Query Optimization + Forgetting To Run EXPLAIN = Full Table Scan (Ben Nadel) - Optimization is one of the most satisfying tasks to do, particularly when it's a query. Great post that explains how to search and see what needs to be changed.

• The Importance of Scheduling Nothing (Jeff Weiner) - So simple and powerful, I do the same but often fail at defending those zones.

• Announcing preview of Azure Data Share (Mike Flasko) - Looking forward to use this new feature in my project.

Programming

• Intro Guide to Dockerfile Best Practices - Docker Blog (Tibor Vass) - Would it be for a review because you know your way with Docker or to get started, this post is excellent.
• Dependency Injection in ASP.NET Core MVC (Code Maze) - An interesting article introducing an important patern.
• My Personal Git Tricks Cheatsheet (Antonin Januska) - This is a list of awesome tricks and idea for our Git daily usage.
• Using EasyAuth (AppService Authentication) with ASP.NET Core (Maxime Rouiller) - A cool tutorial that explains a workaround to do an easyAuth in .Net Core.

Podcasts

• Methods to Organize Your Learning Process with Lourdes Montano (Scott Hanselman) - Great episode, a few methods, or ideas of organization resonate with me. Definitely interesting.
• How to Use External Storage in Docker (Brett Fisher) - Nice short episode that explains how to think (or when to think) about storage while working with containers.
• Episode 68: The Rise of the Cloud-First Generation with Christina Warren (Corey Quinn) - A very interesting episode. They is no "best way", all path go somewhere and have advantages. As my journey was not straight forward, I totally agree with that.
• #313: 3 Steps to Finding Freedom to Focus (Ken Coleman and Michael Hyatt) - The work-life balance... not an easy thing to answer... I enjoyed this episode exploring, suggesting a way to improve (get closer) to a balance.
• Ubuntu, with Mark Shuttleworth (Craig and Adam) - It was so nice to learn more about Mark Shuttleworth and his projects. Like always... an awesome episode.
• 418: The Way to Nurture New Ideas, with Safi Bahcall (Dave Stachowiak) - Very interesting episode where we learn that there are always multiple sides to a story... And knowing them will change our perception.
• 403: Transition Well Through Your Day, with Gretchen Rubin (Dave Stachowiak) - Doing a little bit of catching up with this podcast, but I'm glad I did! Not only the episode was good but now I have to books that I'm really looking forward to read!
• Which Online Courses are Worth Investing In? (and how do you decide?) (Meredith Marsh - Great question! I then to try to go the source and try/learn it by my self... what do you do?

Books

Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts. (Brené Brown) - A nice book. pack with a lot of information. A lot's of stories to emphasize her points, I always like that. It was maybe a little too much cartesian for me... many steps. Or maybe I was not in a good mindset. Good book however.

• Getting Started with the Cognitive Services Computer Vision API - The Wit and Ramblings of David Giard (David Giard ) - Nice little tutorial to get started quickly with the Vision API.
• Kubernetes: What it is and what it isn’t (Jason Haley) - Cool source of resources related to how to learn Kubernetes
• Sync Folder with Azure Blob Storage (Thomas Maurer) - Wow, this is so sick! Very happy about this feature.
• Using Entity Framework with Azure Functions (Jeff Hollan) - Pretty cool demo about the new dependency injection feature of Azure Function.

Programming

• Clever little C# and ASP.NET Core features that make me happy (Scott Hanselman) - Nice post about some C# gems...If I can say that.
• 10 Top Blazor Tools Just a NuGet Away -- Visual Studio Magazine (David Ramel) - Wow, so many great projects...
• Top 10 C# Developer Books for Summer 2019 (Claudio Bernasconi) - Great list of books to get started with C# or as a developer. I'll definitely refer people to it when asked where to start.

• Using Environment Variables in Azure DevOps Pipelines (K. Scott Allen) - A great little tutorial that explains how to use configure our variables.

Programming

• An open source parser for GitHub Actions (Patrick Reynolds) - Looking forward to try those GitHub Actions.
• Code coverage reports for ASP.NET Core (Gunnar Peipman) - Very interesting post to learn more about how to get a useful report about our tests.
• Dependency injection in .NET Core console applications (Gunnar Peipman) - Fantastic and concise post that introduces a way to do simple dependency injection with .Net Core using Autofact.
• Rust Governance: Scaling Empathy (Manish Goregaokar) - A friend recently introduced me to Rust. This post assumed we all already familiar to it, and talk about the current problems of this new language and potential solutions.

Databases

• Migrating your existing on-prem SQL Server database to Azure SQL DB (Angelos Petropoulos) - Are you planning to migrate your app to Azure? If the database is also part of the migration here three different way to migrate it including one that doesn't require downtime!

Miscellaneous

• Benefits of using Azure API Management with microservices (Mike Budzynski) - Nice post that explains how to structure Azure Functions (microservices) with Apim and explains why it's a good practice.
• Designing for Dark Mode (kirupa) - Interesting topic indeed. As I'm migrating one of my blog the timing is excellent.

• Node.js Everywhere with Environment Variables! (John Papa) - Wow! This awesome post brings you from zero to hero with steps of a extreme clarity. If you are interested in Node.js it a must.

Cloud

• Azure Functions Contact Form HTTP Trigger (Tom Faltesek) - A really interesting and useful utilization of an Azure Function to boost an existing solution (in this case a blog)

• Azure Functions Dependency Injection with Autofac (Jason Roberts) - An interesting tutorial that explains how to improve our functions.

Programming

• Best practices for building Kubernetes Operators and stateful apps | Google Cloud Blog (Palak Bhatia, Jun Xiang Tee) - Great post that lists the best practices to for our kubernetes projects

• Building a Web App With Yeoman (Oscar Salas) - A very complete and detailed post about yeoman. What it is, what it can do, how to install it. The only thing missing could be one final example to get started.

• Testing a WebAPI in .NET Core with Integration tests (Dominique St-Amand) - This post explains a good and simple way to build tests.

Data

• Azure Data Architecture Guide (Ed Price) - Nice new book, based on the best practices of the AzureCAT... Yeah. We all need this book!

Miscellaneous

• Updating my ASP.NET Website from .NET 2.2 Core Preview 2 to .NET 2.2 Core Preview 3 (Scott Hanselman) - Really cool "live" post where we follow Scott updating his website.

Books

• The Personal MBA: Master the Art of Business (Josh Kaufman) - An interesting book that helps to get in the mood, get prepared, and maybe for some whom weren't sure yet about the idea of a personal MBA (compare to the regular one)... Help to start planning and get moving. This book isn't an one book miracle MBA certification, but most likely a really good way to understand the journey the reader is about to start. The complete list of books to achieve this adventure is constantly updated and is available online.

• Analyze your data with Application Insights Analytics (Dan Hadari) - Nice sample that really shows the power of that tool.
  
• Announcing Azure Service Fabric 5.5 and SDK 2.5 (Vaclav Turecek) - Nice updates in the SDK, and now supports Asp.Net Core.
  
• Azure IoT Suite adds device management capability updates (Sam George) - Nice little post that lists the new features available with the last update.
  
• Azure API Management, Release Notes – March 17 (Vlad Vinogradsky) - This post lists the details about the new features.
  
• Short introduction to serverless architecture (Gunnar Peipman) - Great agnostic overview of was are these serverless services.

Programming

• Using Azure AD with ASP.NET Core (Gunnar Peipman) - A cool tutorial that explains very clearly how to use AD.
  
• Using Dependency Injection in Multiple .NET Core Projects (Juergen Gutsch) - An interesting tutorial that explains how to implement one of the most-used patterns with the new .Net Core.
  
• Visual Studio 2017 can automatically recommend NuGet packages for unknown types (Scott Hanselman) - Nice little post that shares cool tricks with VS that you probably didn't know.

• Introducing Microsoft Data Amp (Mitra Azizirad) - All we need to know about this new online event.

• Dockerizing a real world asp.net core application (Thien Nguyen) - Fantastic post. I really like it when authors are sharing with us their trials and errors because it the best way to really learn something.

Cloud

• How Azure Functions Pricing Works (Chris Pietschmann) - This post cannot explain more clearly and simply the pricing formulas. At least for this service...
  
• How to download a file from Blob Storage using Azure API Management? (Alexander Laysha) - Great post that explains how we can optimize or performance without lowering our security.
  
• Job Handlers and Dependency Injection in Azure WebJobs (Vivien Chevallier) - A very useful tutorial that closes a series on Azure Web jobs.
  
• Manage App Service, SQL Database, and more - Azure Management Libraries for .NET (Asir Selvasingh) - It's time to try the new fluent interface. A good way to build an easy to read a script, that will build our solution.
  
• Single Instance VMs Now With 99.9% SLA - Good news, double with good SLAs.

Programming

• Calling Windows 10 APIs From a Desktop Application (Michael Crump) - Great! Windows IoT for all!
  
• Docker for Devs Part 1: Containerizing Your Application - Lock Me Down (Thien Nguyen) - Amazing post, first of series that explains how to use containers and Docker tools.

Databases

• Loading data into Azure SQL Data Warehouse just got easier (Casey Karst) - Interesting tips that can save us so much time...

Miscellaneous

• VIDEO: How to get started with technical public speaking! (Scott Hanselman) - This one-hour video is a great way to relief yourself a lot of pressure if you are, or want to start giving talks... It's definitely a good investment of your time.

• Windows Azure: Backup Services Release, Hyper-V Recovery Manager, VM Enhancements, Enhanced Enterprise Management Support - Wonderful! This news makes my week... Backup and Active Directory for the Azure Portal in the same release. I'm sincerely impressed by the quantity of features this week, and really happy to see the new Script Center.

Cloud

• Developing Windows Azure Mobile Services server-side - Very complete tutorial with a lot of details that cover also tests.
  
• WCF Worker Role Just Recycles on Windows Azure (Angshuman Nayak) - I really like this kind of post where the author shares with us how he investigated and found the solution for a problem.
  
• Run various Linux distributions with applications on Azure Cloud (gpillai) - Quick post that will show how we could, very easily, do SuSE CentOS or Ubuntu in Azure.
  
• Windows Azure: Announcing release of Windows Azure SDK 2.2 (with lots of goodies) - Good news. Learn all about the news virtual machine available in Windows Azure, the price drop and more in this post...
  
• Migration to AWS: part 1 - Very interesting story that shows how reel life considerations are taking in change, when moving to the cloud.
  
• Transient Fault Handling Application Block & Enterprise Library 6 - Nice post that summarizes all changes in Transient Fault Handleing Application Block of the last Enterprise Library release.
  
• Windows Azure Storage Queues VS Windows Azure Service Bus Queues - Nice and useful post that compares Azure Storage Queues and Azure Service Bus Queues.

• SCREENCASTS: What's New in Visual Studio 2013 - learn over lunch! (Scott Hanselman) - Great post that group many videos about the new Visual Studio 2013 features.
  
• How Do You Learn a New Framework? - Good post that introduces simplewebdev: a website that regroups information, blogs, articles about MVC pattern.
  
• How to become a better GIT - Very interesting post that provides details informations to pick your site and client, and explains how to act as a good Git contributor.

Database

• EF6 Connection Resiliency for SQL Azure* – When does it actually do it’s thing? : Don't Be Iffy - Nice post. Transient Fault exceptions are to be expected when developing in the cloud. Thanks to this post, we will save time trying to build Unit-tests.
  
• SQL Injection - Good sample that shows how easy it is to do SQL injection, and gives the final argument to protect your database.

Architecture

• Microsoft .NET: Architecting Applications for the Enterprise - This book looks very interesting.

Miscellaneous

• Make a Windows 8.1 Pinned Live Tile for YOUR website in minutes - Super! I'm just starting using Win8 on my personal machine. Now, I have plenty of idea on how to customize it... Or at lest, where I will to start.
  
• Ditch the Laptop: How to Work From a Tablet (Aaron Aders) - Nice post that gives good advices and accessories suggestions.
  
• Is OneNote the best ever App for Tablets? (Stu4rt) - I started using OneNote last year, and I never stop. It is a great application that works really smoothly on all devises.
  
• Working With Programmers: 3 Tips - This post make me smile....Ya, I know, I'm kind of a web developer....
