• 14 software architecture design patterns to know (Vicki Walker) - This post definitely shares common patterns for different situations or contexts.

• 5 tricks every C# dev should know about LINQPad (Davide Bellone) - Nice tricks! I didn't know the shortcut for writeline.

• Integrated Terminal in Visual Studio: New SSH integration for Linux targeting (Sinem Akinci) - An interesting new feature from Visual Studio.

• Modernize with Azure Migrate (Shiva Shastri) - Inspire, the Microsoft event starts today looking forward to the update in this world to ease the migration and best practices.

• PowerToys 0.60 Arrives with Windows 11 Features - If you never tried Power Toys before now is your cue. So helpful!

• Should I write a new JavaScript framework? (Salma Alam-Naylor) - For the JavaScript developer that may have that idea, here is a website to help you to start on the good foot.

Podcasts

• EP 011 | 2+ Million Subs While Living Off the Grid with My Self Reliance (Matti Haapoja Podcast) - When two of the YouTuber you like meet in a podcast to talk about trends and how you can follow them or not. It was delightful.

• How to overcome common workplace fears (Modern Mentor) - As usual great advice in a concise episode.

• How To Create An Inviting Podcast Intro That Hooks Listeners? (Feed Your Brand) - So true, and I would say that most of those advices also applies to videos.

• SPI 594: How to Heal Burnout with Valerie Hamaker (The Smart Passive Income Online Business and Blogging Podcast) - With so many people around the globe feeling tired and disconnected from themself, it's great to hear that there are tools and people to talk too. Don't wait.

• The future of supply chain with Ox's CEO Charu Thomas (Hanselminutes with Scott Hanselman) - This is inspiring. In my previous life, I did work in the inventory management world, and I was kinda surprised things didn't change much. But I like where it's going.

• Shut It Down (Michael Szul) - It's way hard than it looks to make those decisions.

Programming

• Using the ASP.NET Core Environment Feature to manage Development vs. Production for any config file type (Scott Hanselman) - A nice tutorial that explains how to benefits of our environment in C#

• Building applications with C# and a Challenge! (Shayne Boyer) - Very happy to finally see C# to learn. I should have a look at all those modules...interactive he said...it looks awesome.

• Internationalization And Localization For Static Sites — Smashing Magazine (Sam Richard) - This is an amazing post that not only shows how they did it but explains why they did. Really interesting.

• Managing multiple SSH keys for authentication to GitHub on Windows 10 (Dominique St-Amand) - Nice tips to work securely with 2 ssh key.

• Node.js REST API Tutorial: Express.js and TypeScript (Marcos Henrique da Silva) - As I'm learning TypeScript/ Node.js for a project and was looking for how to structure and organized my project this post provide so much.

• Should Your Enterprise Pick Angular, React or Blazor? (Jon Hilton) - Of course, it depends, but I like how this post lets you think about many different aspects before making your decision.

• Best practice when naming Durable Functions in C# (Laurent Bugnion) - Nice update. So many developers will thank you later...

Miscellaneous

• How to waste your career, one comfortable year at a time (Apoorva Govind) - In the end, what is most important is that you are happy. I like to continuously learn new things, but I also learn that for some people, this is not healthy. And it is totally fine.

• ASP.NET Core Apps Observability (Francisco) - A great post that shares, and explains how to implement logs, traces, and metrics in modern application.

• Azure Cost Management + Billing updates – February 2020 (Michael Flanakin) - Wow, an incredible update on all front. New features, new PowerBi app, new APIs, and so much more.

• Durable Functions Upgrade Strategies (Mark Heath) - A real gold mine of information about best practices when migrating. Of course great when migrating durable functions, but also true for any services.

Programming

• How to set up a tab profile in Windows Terminal to automatically SSH into a Linux box - Scott Hanselman (Scott Hanselman) - If you've been hacking or just copy-pasting config without understanding to mutch, this post will explain how to do you own version.

• Announcing PowerShell 7.0 (Joey) - That awesome post will explain what's in PowerShell 7 and why we should care... Because yes... we should.

• Docker Desktop for Windows Home is here! - Docker Blog (Ben De St Paer-Gotch) - Fantastic news! And so easy to install. Lovely.

• How to merge a pull request 🔥🔥🔥 (Steve Belovarich) - Interesting post that shares some best practices when merging.

Podcast

• Starting a profitable business in six weeks with Courtland Allen (Software Engineering Unlocked) - A really interesting discussion about success in tech. All the work that it required, but also the timing, and the people you keep around you in the journey.

• #28: Frank Boucher - Live Stream Coding (The Solo Coder Podcast) - Shameless plug... But a good episode nevertheless.

• #361: The Generosity of Scars with Scott Mann (The EntreLeadership Podcast) - First when I eared the guess was a military I thought it will be full of war references... But no! This episode is all about human. Our self, are we feel alone and strangely the fact that we are not. Great episode and I really liked Scott Mann verbs.

• How to Start and Grow A Podcast That Gets Listeners - Twitch Advice (Stream Coach: Twitch Stream Tips) - I like how Ashley treats her topics. She does it in a different way. In my journey to learn about how to provide great streaming content, this episode was a nice complement.

Book

The Infinite Game 

by: Simon Sinek

 I really enjoyed this book. This book gave me vocabulary. It was putting words on ideas, explaining clearly some feelings that I wasn't able to express. Like when you know something is good or bad, but that you can explain why. It's less impressive than Start with Why, but definitely, something to read.

• Creating a Chatbot with Microsoft Azure QnA Maker and Alexa (James Ashley) - This post explains all the steps about a pretty cool project.
• How to Schedule Cosmos DB Data Processing With Azure Functions (Jason Roberts) - Cool demo with a time trigger (scheduled) Azure function.

Programming

• Views, Partial Views, and Layouts in ASP.NET Core MVC (Code Maze) - Very simple, but yet complete Asp.Net MVC tutorial. Perfect place to get started.
• Getting Started with Docker in Visual Studio 2019 (Wael Kdouh) - This is a nice tutorial to get started with Containers.
• Visual Studio Code Remote Development over SSH to a Raspberry Pi is butter (Scott Hanselman) - VS Code is simplifying the life of all IoT developers. So cool.

Miscellaneous

• It's Time ⌚ to Talk 5535756803! The Day of Your Presentation (Jeremy Likness) - Awesome post that is load with advice and experience.

• Automating Releases in GitHub through Azure Pipelines (Raiyan Alam) - So cool, I need to find a project to do that. Ok bye.

Programming

• Creating a Windows Container Build Agent for Azure Pipelines (Jakob Ehn) - This excellent post explains how to build a container with all the components required to have a full .Net build agent.
• How to use Windows 10's built-in OpenSSH to automatically SSH into a remote Linux machine (Scott Hanselman) - Nice post that explains how to configure what we already have, instead of installing yet another tool.
• Remote debugging with VS Code on Windows to a Raspberry Pi using .NET Core on ARM (Scott Hanselman) - A great example of the mojo: if you do a thing twice... automate it.
• Security bugs are fundamentally different than quality bugs (Tanya Janca) - This is a nice post that examines, dissects the difference between QA and security tests.

Databases

• MongoDB on Windows in Minutes with Docker (Jeremy Likness) - A great quick tutorial to install a mongodb in a container in 2 minutes.

Miscellaneous

• Simplicity is Key - Exploring Minimal Web Design (Cameron Chapman) - A very inspiring post that shows us many good designs.
• The 7 Habits of Highly Effective IT Leaders (JD Meier) - Interesting post. It covers pretty well all the aspect of efficient IT people. Easy to identify hard to master.
• What's the Best Video Stabilization Software? Premiere, After Effects, Resolve Reviewed (Lewis McGregor) - Very detailed analysis of the stabilization feature.

• How to uninstall Scrum (Erwin Verweij) - When you will read that post (because you must read it... Seriously), you will smile, giggle and maybe even laugh.

• Azure Tips and Tricks Part 14 - Generate SSH public key to log into Linux VM with Cloud Shell (Azure Tips and Tricks Part 14 - Generate SSH public key to log into Linux VM with Cloud Shell was published on September 11, 2017.) - Doing a remote desktop on a Windows VM is trivial, but doing the same thing on a Linux machine required just a little more. After reading this post will be a walk in the park.

• Azure Tips and Tricks Part 16 - Deploy Jekyll Site Hosted on GitHub Pages to Azure (Azure Tips and Tricks Part 16 - Deploy Jekyll Site Hosted on GitHub Pages to Azure was published on September 13, 2017.) - I use Jekyll on Azure, and I love it. If you would like to try it, this post is all you need.

• Getting Started with Windows Containers (Alina Popa) - A cool tutorial that uses a few popular tech these days.

• Keep credentials out of code: Introducing Azure AD Managed Service Identity (Stuart Kwan) - Great post that explains what the new service is, and how it works.It also suggests a tutorial to learn how to implement it. Awesome!

• Why is Serverless Extensibility better than Webhooks? (Bobby Johnson) - A useful post that jumps right in the middle of the debate about the Webhook and serverless. Both are good but planning (as usual) is worth it.

Programming

• API Versioning with Azure API Management (Darrel Miller) - Great post that helps to find the peace, or at least make your ideas, about what kind of rules, you should follow.

• Microservices: The Good, the Bad and the Hype (Jennifer Riggins) - Nice post that explains some challenges when doing serversless. Because yes, it's a great architecture plan, but it's not magic.

• Microsoft Tech Summit is back – register for a free event near you! (Microsoft Azure team) - A big tour around the globe, check when they visit one of the fourteen cities near you.

Miscellaneous

• 3 Common Mistakes to Avoid When Selling to Small Businesses - Microsoft Partner Network (Carol Roth) - Interesting points to improve our skills.

• Create flexible ARM templates using conditions and logical functions (Kristian Nese) - I had so much oooh and aaah reading this post. Now ARM template won't necessarily be spaghetti.
• 6 Challenges Partners and Customers Face When Moving to the Cloud - Microsoft Partner Network (Tonny Siemons) - Excellent post that talks about real problems (situations) of real enterprises.
• An Introduction to Blockchain with Mark Russinovich (Mark Russinovich, Seth Juarez) - Great video from Mark Russinovich himself.
• Azure Functions – Prepare for continuous delivery (Mikael Krief) - The first post of a processing series, the focus of this one is all about creating our project from scratch in Visual Studio.
• Azure Tips and Tricks Part 10 - Quickly Connect to a Linux VM with SSH (Michael Crump) - Another nice tips and tricks post, and this one contain one I personally discovered very recently concerning ssh on windows.
• Overview on Web App for Containers and Azure App Service on Linux (Apurva Joshi) - Now that GA nothing should stop us. This post is a great overview of this Azure service.
• Why Healthcare Is Moving To The Cloud (But Isn't There Yet) (Martin Gontovnikas) - Very interesting article that explains few things from real life.

Databases

• Cloud Database? NoSQL? Nah, just use CSVs and CsvHelper (Scott Hanselman) - You are right Scott, keep it super simple sound waaaaaay better; love it.

Miscellaneous

• Ways to get involved in the local tech community (5 of 5) (Jason Haley) - This post close a nice series about the community. Looking forward to seeing you at a meetup...
